Clip Arty is a part of Illuminated Design Limited, a British company that produces art and illustration for on line customers.  We are based on Wellington, Somerset in the South West of England.
Many of the designs on the site were originally produced for our sister site at www.illuminated-design.co.uk/presentations.html.  Presentations is the place to purchase customised award and greeting certifictaes for business, collage, family, friends and special occasions.  The great interest shown in the individual designs has prompted us to create Clip Arty so that searching for individual designs is easier and to allow immediate availability of the purchased item through digital downloads.  

All our images a unique or are adapted from traditional designs.  All the early designs were based on illuminated calligraphy in the styles of the middles ages and renaissance years. This is now being widened to include a wider variety of illustration and design that we eventually hope will provide a invaluable resource for peole who need ready to use illustration.
